| Customer Reviews: Better conditioner than cleaner December 2, 2009 Madmallard (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product cleans, but not heavily. So if you have a dirt or soil problem, you should probably clean it with soap and water first and use this product as a conditioner only.
It is thick and a bit goopy, so if the leather has any 'features' it will collect around stitching, holes, and so forth.
I like it as a conditioner, its smell is very inoffensive and mild, and it does what it says it does.
But everyone else who said it takes some work is right; this stuff takes some work to get best results. I still find the work worth it.
Have also used on leather bomber jacket, gun holster, and gloves
worst decision I ever made August 25, 2009 Amiel Sanfiorenzo 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
I tried Meguiar's rich leather wipes on my new sports car and over the course of a single day, it turned my black leather seats to slightly greenish brown leather seats. It claims to protect from UV rays, but instead it destroyed my leather seats. They should add a warning that this could happen.
Not great, but OK July 16, 2009 netzotic (Salisbury MD USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product is a pain to use. I found my bottle to be extremely difficult to squeeze - probably because it seems to be a slightly liquified version of saddle soap. It requires a lot of scrubbing to lift dirt. It permanently filled in the little holes in the seating surfaces. This product didn't make much of a difference when it comes to conditioning - the seats still look dry and texture didn't improve.
The other day, I tried the Turtle Wax T485 ICE Total Interior Care. It did a much better job lifting dirt and improved the texture some with NO WORK. I'd pick that product over this one, since you can use it over all of your interior surfaces and reduce your car car products.
EDIT: After running out of Ice Total Interior Care, I bought some Lexol 1115 Leather pH Cleaner Spray 16.9 oz. (500mL). As a liquid soap, it's super easy to apply. Since it's glycerin based, it won't dry out your leather. It even works well on smooth leather shoes! Follow up with their conditioner spray and you've got an awesome combo to keep your automotive leather in the best possible condition.
Good product May 4, 2009 Charles M. Cline (Oregon) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchaced this item for a used pickup that the original owner used Armor All on the leather. It cleaned it quite well and is not as slick as the other stuff. Good purchase.
All in one product that doesn't dissapoint. April 24, 2009 R. Garcia 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have leather seats in my 01 chevy silverado, and this product did clean out the dirt from those seats. It also provided some protection to the seats. To me it seems I will need to use this product at least once a month to keep my seats conditioned and protected.
It does not do a spectacular job, but it does what it's suppose to do.
