I got this clutch to put into my '98 Ford Escort Sport and I am very pleased with it. This is my project car so I will be adding a couple of light mods (very limited to what I can do with this particular car given it's make and model) and I was wanting to put in a heavier duty clutch than what I had in it. I reviewed this clutch on other sites before getting it, and even though it is an OEM replacement it is more durable and designed to have a slightly higher clamp load than the stock clutch which is perfect if you just want an extra durable clutch or if you will be having some very light mods done. It came in the mail exactly when expected with the packaging in very good condition. Upon examining the clutch it even looks of a stronger build than the stock clutch. Installation was very easy and after putting it to a road test it is amazing. The driveability is great and you can feel the tighter clamp load. Now where can you find a heavy duty OEM replacement clutch for this cheap??? Nowhere that I found, and this girl has looked everywhere.

Haven't installed yet, because of rebuilding the engine as well, making it a winter project. These parts look superior to the clutch disc/pressure plate we removed. Even the torque damper springs are a bit longer and heavier than the one it is going to replace. We have absolute 100 percent faith that this kit will work as advertised, and per the instructions/warnings. Reading the instruction sheet, along with having the flywheel removed and resurfaced/replaced cannot be stressed enough.
