| Customer Reviews: northern tier play toy July 2, 2010 shakey519 i bought this play toy to begin geocashing and to track route on scouting northern tier trip. did a trial run on charter fishing trip setting it to take reading every 1/4 mile. it did well. also programed in route to beach house and it did well. even did my first geocashe site. have gotten better as i learn features.
The eTrex carrying Case June 10, 2010 Wendell Coleman (South Londonderry VT) I found that the case fits well, still allows me to use the the e-trex controls in a normal fashion and seems secure on my belt.
Snug fit and shock absorbing. June 6, 2010 G. Howard (Las Vegas, NV) I found no issues with this product. It fits the Garmin snug and perfect. It's also a good shock absorber in case it's dropped or falls. There is a ring on the back clip that lets you attach the hand strap to the case instead of the Garmin unit itself making it much easier to take the case off and put back on. The plastic screen cover allows good visability of the screen.
Fits like a glove May 19, 2010 Mark A. Carter (Modesto, CA USA) The carrying case fits nicely with the GPS unit and leaves the unit fully operational. Belt clip is molded into the case so if it breaks you will need to replace complete case.
Garmin eTrex Carrying case May 9, 2010 Berislav A. Bosnjak (Los Alamitos, CA USA) Nice, but it should be able to accommodate the unit with the backing set for the bicycle mount.
